Evidence comes first
GazetteWire’s automated newsroom is designed around an evidence-first workflow. Feed items, primary documents and approved source records are stored before a draft is created. The Source Trail on an article is generated from those stored records, not from citations invented in prose.
AI-assisted, not evidence-free
GazetteWire uses AI-assisted editorial personas for drafting, summarization, classification and context. Each persona has a defined beat and voice. The AI is instructed to remain inside the supplied evidence bundle, to distinguish documents from allegations, and to say when the evidence is insufficient.
Review before publication
The default Run A workflow sends AI-generated drafts to editorial review rather than publishing automatically. Consequential or uncertain claims should be reviewed against the attached evidence before publication.
Source Trail
Every source-backed article can display the publications, feeds or documents used as its reporting basis. A source link shows what the newsroom used; it does not imply that the source endorses GazetteWire’s framing.
Corrections and updates
Meaningful corrections, clarifications and material updates are recorded as article revisions and can be shown publicly. We do not silently rewrite a factual error and pretend the earlier version never existed.
Separation of fact and analysis
News copy should identify what happened and what the evidence supports. Analysis may explain implications, incentives or historical context, but it should not be presented as a sourced fact when it is interpretation.
Financial, legal and medical boundaries
GazetteWire may report on markets, law and health policy, but its automated newsroom is not configured to provide personalized investment, legal or medical advice.
